Gifts for Families, Kids & Parents
Gifts for kids and gifts for parents, including favorite family games that bring everyone together.
Instax Mini – Our kids love taking photos with family and friends and getting to see them print and develop in real time. I keep some favorite photos in a box in the living room. We have so much fun looking through them together! This is also a great gift for a pre-teen or teen that might keep them off their screens for a little while.
Personalized Canvas Tote – We use canvas totes for everything! The library, shopping, camping, etc. This one has great pockets, comes in tons of colors and can be personalized!
Q&A a Day for Kids – We have one of these for each kid and the journal lasts for three years! Each year, they answer the same questions and as the year before and it’s so fun to see how their answers change with age. It leads to really special conversations, too.
Bean Bag Chair with Vibration – I’ve used this chair in multiple client designs and everyone loves it! There’s a great holiday sale right now and it tends to sell out!
Pac-Man Countercade – Love this classic game option and it’s a great price during holiday sales! I miiiight be putting one under our tree this year to enjoy in the DIY home bar.
Mancala – This classic game is family favorite for us! I remember playing it in grade school and my kids love it now, too. Plus, it’s easy to travel with.
Maze Activity Book – I bought this for my son last year and it’s been great to take on road trips, and out to eat to keep him busy while his sister prefers coloring books.
Classic Book Collection – The holiday deal is so good on these beautifully designed classic books from Rifle Paper Co! I ordered a set to keep in storage for a year or two and will gift it to my daughter when she’s old enough to enjoy them together.
Amazon Echo Speaker – We love our Echo speakers and have one in each bedroom, the kitchen and the basement bar. We use them for alarm clocks, sleep sound machines, reminders, announcements and family dance parties. It’s almost 50% off right now!
Mini Movie Projector – I’m planning to snag one of these to enjoy outdoor movies with the family. It would also be great for teen bedrooms or basements where you don’t have a traditional TV and want to project on a blank wall or screen.
Magnetic Tiles – Our kids are six and eight and we still enjoy playing with these! This deal is fantastic for a huge set.
Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza – This long-winded card game is a family favorite and we love to keep it in the car for road trips, camping or to play at casual bars or restaurants.
